I have eight years of experience on Gravenhurst Council.

I was first elected to Gravenhurst Council in 2010, serving two terms ending in 2018.

I’ve been an active member of Council, and have served on the following committees and positions:

  • Chair and Vice Chair of Committee of Adjustment (which deals with Consents/Severances and Minor Variances)
  • Council Representative on the Gravenhurst Environmental Advisory Committee (GEAC)
  • Council Representative on the Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
  • Council Representative on the Terence Haight Financial Assistance Committee
  • Member of the Steering Committee for Infrastructure Ontario’s Opportunities Assessment and Optimal Use Study for the Muskoka Centre
  • Gravenhurst Council’s representative on the Muskoka Watershed Council
  • Appointed Acting Mayor, to serve when the Mayor and Deputy Mayor are unavailable.

Following my last term of Council, I have remained active on Town Committees, continuing to serve on:

  • Committee of Adjustment
  • Terence Haight Financial Assistance Committee
  • Gravenhurst Environmental Advisory Committee
  • Council Compensation Review Committee
